Maciek Krolikowski, MScPT
Physiotherapist
Maciek Krolikowski studied in Calgary, Alberta where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and his Master of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. During his studies Maciek competed for the U of C Dinos Track and Field Team as a sprinter and team captain.
Maciek continued to work as a researcher and coordinator for large-scale research projects evaluating policy changes aimed at preventing injuries and concussions in youth hockey players. In 2018, Maciek moved to Edmonton to pursue a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta. He is also advancing his clinical skills in the area of running-related injuries and performance.
Maciek implements an evidence-based and client-centered approach; he uses education, functional goal setting, exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate a sustainable recovery process.
Maciek has successfully completed the Level 1 exam in the Orthopaedic Division advanced integrated musculoskeletal physiotherapy and plans to pursue higher levels in the future.
Maciek enjoys trail running, hiking, rock/ice climbing, and skiing the backcountry. In addition to English, Maciek also speaks French and Polish.
